Waiatarua Reserve Planting Day 2016

Event Date: 9 July 2016

The annual community planting day at Waiatarua Wetland Reserve will take place on Saturday 9th July at 1pm. Please come along if you can to support the Waiatarua Reserve Protection Society and other local volunteers.

Please meet at the end of Towle Place at 12.45pm, or make your way to the planting site – the northern-most point of the reserve (indicated by the yellow dot below).

This event is always well attended, but the more willing volunteers the merrier. There are about 1,000 plants to go in the ground this year.

There will be some spades and gloves courtesy of Auckland Council Volunteers Officer Sarah Peters, but bring your own if you wish. We will also be mulching so any additional wheelbarrows would be great.

See the event page on Facebook for more details.
