As your Residents Association, we work hard to keep our community connected and advocate for local improvements, everything we do is made possible through the support of residents like you.

To continue these efforts—and to take on new projects that enhance our neighbourhood—we rely on a small financial contribution from the community becoming members.

Your contribution helps fund:

  • communication tools (like this newsletter!)
  • advocacy for local improvements
  • connecting with elected officials including our Ward Councillor and Deputy Mayor Desley Simpson and local Board members, and the community

Recent mahi has included;

  • getting a slippery bridge that locals were being injured on in Tahapa reserve fixed
  • advocating for retaining safer speeds in Meadowbank
  • setting up a mini recycling collection point at St Chads
  • coordinating the community’s input for a memorial for Kyle Whorall who was killed in a local bus stop, and liaising with Auckland Transport, Purewa cemetery and Kyles work colleagues to make it happen
  • ongoing advocacy for the Gowing Drive connection to the shared path

If you value the work we do and want to see our neighborhood thrive, please consider becoming a member for $15/year. It’s quick, easy, and deeply appreciated.
