After much hard work from the Orakei Local Board (OLB), an application for a 24-apartment building at 1-3 Purewa St was agreed to proceed on a limited notification to those people affected at 1, 3, 5 and 7 Puroto St. As part of this consent process the OLB raised concerns about the impact this development would have on the already stressed Meadowbank wastewater and stormwater systems.
