Proposal for Raised Speed Tables and Crossing Facility on Meadowbank Rd

24 March 2017

***UPDATE 15 MAY 2017: We understand Auckland Transport are proceeding with raised speed tables on Meadowbank Rd as per the original drawing below. Please read their Feedback Summary Letter which addresses an amazing 22 concerns raised by locals, such as why this is not going to be a zebra crossing.***

Auckland Transport are seeking feedback about their proposal to put “raised speed tables” on Meadowbank Rd, one of which is also a pedestrian crossing facility.

We are pleased to see Auckland Transport’s proposal as we have been vocal supporters of reduced speed and the need for a pedestrian crossing on this busy road.

The plan below shows the placement of the speed tables. Click on the image to view a larger version.

For a full description of the proposal, please view the Consultation Letter: Meadowbank Rd Raised Speed Tables.

Make a submission by 5th April at at.govt.nz/haveyoursay.
